What Kind of Leader are You? Participants will increase self-awareness by assessing their leadership and communication styles in an interactive setting.

What’s the “Art of Feedback”? Examining how leaders prefer to receive feedback and how to discover the same in those they lead by drawing on the principles of Intentional Leadership.

How’s Your Communication? Exploring the words you use to lead and how body language and tone can derail your intended message. Applying practical tools for effectively handling challenging conversations using real-time situations.

What’s Your Team Member’s ‘Why’? Discovering your team member’s “Why” in order to create awareness of what motivates them then helping each individual discover how his/her purpose blends with the team’s culture. Students will explore strategies that will retain team members by keeping them engaged and motivated.

What’s Your Story? Looking beyond what you see and hear before taking action. Students will engage in activities that reveal how our emotions and the stories we create can create actions that get in the way of desired results.

Students will receive an interactive workbook to reinforce the principles learned and practiced within the two half-day sessions as well as a certificate of completion.

This training is designed to help strengthen deepen and widen your customer relationships through “Connection Conversations” which has proven to generate more sales leads and referrals. In these 2 half-day sessions, students will learn how to generate additional revenues WHILE taking good care of your customers and deepening the relationship.

  • Participants will learn how to "pivot" inbound customer service conversations from a reactive, transactional status to a proactive lead development environment. This allows your company to expand customer relationships during in-bound calls and transactions to derive new sources of sales and revenue.
  • Participants will learn how to obtain permission to get to know and better serve the customer (“Connect” with them) how to; gather information, uncover potential opportunities, establish value in the mind of the prospect, "plant seeds" and advance the new business opportunity by learning to take appropriate action – all using a “question-based” process.

Students will receive an interactive workbook to reinforce the principles learned and practiced within the two half-day sessions as well as a certificate of completion.

Cathy has diverse background within private industry and nonprofit, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and banking. As a leadership talent development and organizational change consultant, her overall focus is on strategic and influential leadership development, learning/ talent development systems, coaching systems, organizational change, and employee engagement programs. She has co-designed multiple award-winning leadership development/ succession programs in partnership with senior executive leaders in multiple industries.
