Ignite Leadership Training

For emerging leaders and managers

This training is designed to build the overall capability of your organization’s leaders:

  • experienced managers

Training will take place virtually over the course of five 90-minute sessions.  Ignite is relevant, interactive, group-guided, application-based learning that enhances the leadership skills of managers who are building teams within in a virtual, hybrid or traditional work setting.

Ignite Leadership Training Topics

Create Leadership Self-Awareness: students assess their individual leadership and communication styles exploring strengths and weaknesses while exploring how emotions and the stories they create can lead to actions that can get in the way of desired results.

Develop Resilience Amidst Change & Uncertainty: participants examine the “art of feedback” and build skills to effectively give and receive feedback especially during times of stress drawing on intentional leadership principles.

Bring Clarity in Communication with Peers & Direct Reports: leaders explore the words they use to lead and how body language and tone can derail their intended message. Participants practice strategies for effectively handling challenging conversations using real-time situations.

Build High-Performance Teams: managers improve their capability to effectively interview, hire and onboard new hires within today’s complex business world. Students discover what motivates their existing team members helping each individual discover how his/her purpose blends with the team’s culture in order to retain top talent by keeping team engaged and motivated.

Cathy has diverse background within private industry and nonprofit, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and banking. As a leadership talent development and organizational change consultant, her overall focus is on strategic and influential leadership development, learning/ talent development systems, coaching systems, organizational change, and employee engagement programs. She has co-designed multiple award-winning leadership development/ succession programs in partnership with senior executive leaders in multiple industries.
