Governor’s Message: Those Who Want Restrictions Eased Must ‘Stay Home’ Through April 30
The numbers of cases and deaths due to the coronavirus in Michigan are growing at a slower rate, reasons Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said are cause for “cautious optimism.” However, with the stay-at-home order she imposed set to expire April 30, Whitmer is urging those who want to see those restrictions eased to continue to “stay home,” observing social distancing measures she said have helped slow the disease’s spread.
