Aaron MacDonald is the Small Group Sales Director for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network of Michigan. His team is responsible for developing small group sales and retention strategies – as well as overseeing the Blues’ distribution channels. Aaron started with Blue Cross Blue Shield in 2001. He spent several years in business acquisition and account management positions. Aaron has developed a reputation as a product expert within the Blues and currently sits on several work groups that formulate product strategies. In addition, he has lead self-funding initiatives for the Blues. Aaron received his B.S. and M.S.A. degrees from Central Michigan University. Aaron is from Northern Michigan but currently resides in Huntington Woods, Michigan, with his wife and two children.
