Kristi Stepp, Partner at Sigred Solutions
Kristi Stepp is a partner with Sigred Solutions, a management recruiting and leadership advisory firm. She has over 30 years of human resources experience in the automotive, healthcare, food/beverage, and workforce solutions industries and has broad international and multicultural expertise.
Kristi served in strategic human resource roles at several leading global organizations including General Motors, Kelly Services, Pepsi-Cola and, Volkswagen. Recently, Kristi served as the Global Head of Talent Development at General Motors. While in this position, she was responsible for the enterprise-wide development of over 65,000 salaried employees, including 12,000 people leaders and 20,000 employees outside of
North America.
While at Kelly, she was based in Singapore and led all aspects of HR for the Asia-Pacific Region. Kristi also established Kelly’s first global organizational effectiveness department, which was viewed as a corporate center of expertise and focused on the successful implementation of business solutions.
Kristi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan (Psychology), a master’s degree from Central Michigan University (Human Resources), and a master’s degree from Fielding Graduate University (Human and Organizational Development). In addition, she is a certified Global Professional
in Human Resources (GPHR) through the HR Certification Institute, holds the Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS) designation from the Human Capital Institute (HCI), and is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management.
Kristi gives back to the community as a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She also serves on the school board of the Cornerstone Jefferson-Douglass Academy and the board of Pewabic Pottery, both based in Detroit, Michigan.
